Days to recharge

This is what you'll find me doing on days where I just need a break to reconnect with myself and find new energy. Shamelessly having breakfast in bed with a bunch of magazines and comfy, cuddly socks. Yoga on my carpet before taking a long shower, then pampering my skin with DIY masks, mixtures and different oils. Catching up on blogs and videos while eating lunch and sitting by my computer. Fixing my nails, hair and watching tons of movies will most likely also be on my list.

What do you guys do on days like these?

I finally got my new camera!

I came home from visiting my family during christmas last afternoon and was SO happy to finally get my new Canon EOS 600D camera. Words can not describe my excitement, but sadly it was too dark to really test it and see what kinda pictures it can take, so I decided to wait until today and take a walk in a beautiful nature reserve.

I'm always amazed by how beautiful Denmark can be in winter time. The colors are so strong and vivid,
especially in contrast to the leaveless trees and grey skies.

I can now selfie much, much better hahaha. Although.. My computer is still getting fixed
so editing away undereye shadows has become a big deal now that I don't
have my beloved photoshop.

I love how crisp the photos are (I have to figure out how to make them crisp after uploading them to the blog too though). Sort of just wandered around for a few hours while trying out different functions and playing around with it. This is such an easy camera to use and it honestly does a lot of the work for you - I think it would be great for first time users. The only pictures I've edited are the ones of me, just to show what it can actually do.

It got pretty cold after a while (only 5 degrees here right now) so I went back home to read the rest of the latest Vogue, drink more cleansing tea, eat avocados and look through the photos. These are all just for me to get to know my new camera, but I just wanted to share with you guys anyway. I can't wait to completely change the mood of my blog. Happy sunday darlings!

Sunday look + music love

Hey guys! Happy sunday! I've been home for one week now and I feel wonderful, I'm even starting to miss Copenhagen a little so that must be a good sign. I'm just having a nice, relaxing sunday with minimal makeup and messy hair and it's been so good catching up with friends and family. What have you guys been up to today? Below I'll link some favorite music from today, for your listening pleasure.

Easy, lazy sunday food!

Whole wheat tortilla bread, tomato, cucumber, lot's of onion, spinach, garlic, cheese, taco sauce and spices - so easy, but so yummy and perfect for lazy sundays! I ended up going out with my friend Maja who's a writer last night. We went to a few bars on Nørrebro and it got pretty late before I went home, but finding my way around Copenhagen is getting a lot better! I was supposed to be productive today, but.. You know.

Chill saturday

I've had absolutely no plans this weekend - besides work tomorrow, yay more money for moving - and it's also been waaaay too hot to do anything productive. It hit me how crazy the past two months have been and how much partying I've been doing, ughh my body must hate me haha! So today has been spent finding new inspiration, sipping chai tea, eating nuts and reading more in the Hamburger bible the chef lend me, which by the way might be my new favorite book. It feels like sunday, and that's a-okay..

I'm also trying to mentally prepare myself on finally moving to Copenhagen. It's something I've been wanting to do for the past six years and now it's finally happening!

Weekend in Copenhagen

This post took me two days to finish hahah! Lazyness! I had an amazing weekend at the chef's place, we ate a lovely vegedinner on friday before getting ready for a night out at the gay club CC, we went there with a new friend of mine who I'll hopefully spend a lot more time with! Saturday we went to a huge birthday party at High Voltage, but it was sooo hot that we mostly stayed outside getting drunk.. Sunday we went to the beach (and I caaaan't stop, and I woooon't stop..) and monday to a gay picnic followed by a night out in town!

..on tuesday my grandma lured me home with cheeseburgers c:

Sunday relaxation

I'm back from Roskilde Festival! Came back yesterday two days early, but one week of trash, noise and partying was more than enough for me. I've just been enjoying hot showers, clean sorroundings, shamelessly wearing my hair in a bun, no makeup, soft pillows and sleeping in my own bed. I also have no plans for today besides listening to Billie Holiday and reading magazines haha. In a minute I'll upload a photodiary of my festival week and tomorrow I'm gonna make a vlog + a liitle something exciting!

Here's a little music that I'm loving today -

Homemade avocado facemask

Tonight we had a lovely avocado salad for dinner and since there were a few avocados left I decided to make a homemade facemask out of them - I always love spending sundays without plans doing something nice to pamper myself like long baths, facemasks, hairtreatments and so on. This is super easy to do and doesn't cost a lot, so I just wanted to share it with you guys. Oh and obviously a lovely no-makeup-green-shit-on-ma-face-photo as well!

All you need is 1 avocado, a few spoons of plain yoghurt and a little honey.
Mash the avocado with a fork, add the yoghurt and honey and mix it together until it gets sort of sticky, then remove all makeup from your face, rinse with hot water and just dry off your face with a towel. Leave the facemask on for about and hour and then rinse it off and your face will feel wonderful and refreshed! There's a lot of wonderful vitamins and fibers in avocados and I love that this is super affordable.

You could also switch up the ingredients a bit and add bananas or use hot water instead of plain yoghurt - it's all up to you

Sunday relaxation.

coconutscented body oil - Indola leave in conditioner - Isabell Kristensen perfume -
Maybelline peach juice lipstick - H&M ring - vintage ring - iPod nano - Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary -
homemade vanilla banana milkshake

My weekend has been pretty rough, visiting family, travelling, getting up way too early and on top off that I think I'm getting sick. So today I just wanna take care of myself, spend hours in the shower, sorround myself with relaxing scents, good books, Grace Jones Nightclubbing album, homemade milkshakes and in a minute I will watch Heartbreakers in my pink robe and when Kristoffer comes home tonight, I will enjoy cuddling in my own bed.
