Part two of the Malibu Barbie shoot we did in Mie Maja's new apartment this week. Love the dreamy sorroundings. The bed has little, fluffy clouds, lights and a dreamcatcher. So excited about staying there and having the place to myself from monday and almost a week forward - it's gonna feel like a complete princess vacation. Also getting excited about raiding her wardrobe and making daily outfit posts for you guys. You will die when you see all the treasures there is! ♥
Secondhand scarf - secondhand sunnies - H&M earrings - gifted necklace - secondhand swimsuit What a grey day after a cozy sleepover at my fabulous friend Mie Maja's new apartment turned into. Malibu Barbie vibes, exotic flowers and a bathtub photoshoot. I fell in love with this secondhand swimsuit. Even though it was a bit too big, we decided to just go with it and make it look like I have actual boobs, which felt both strangely unnatural and looked surprisingly good at the same time. Everything used in these photos are Mie Maja's. Next week I am moving into her apartment while she's away, to take care of her kitty, water her plants, take long baths and enjoy the sun on her princess balcony. I will also be raiding her fabulous wardrobe and create daily outfit posts for you guys while staying there. Might also be guesting her blogbut updates will follow. I have been working on this vest for a while whenever I was bored and I'm really pleased with the result! It's perfect for spring and summer and to spice up boring outfits, and DIY projects like these are fun to do because you make personal items that only you have. I've also been wearing my hair in braids a lot lately like I seem to do every summer, so I will have a new video up about it next week♥
My eBay finds from the past two weeks - I have been searching years and years for Barbie clothing and found an awesome eBay seller with affordable items (link under the photo) I'm definitely not done with this boutique, the quality seems great and I did a few outfit posts with the clothing. Also finally ordered a The Mountain tee, obviously the unicorn one in XXL so I can wear it as a dress! And then just stocking up on some new lingerie since I'm dating someone special : D Oh and eyelashes too of course!
Last month karmaloop.com's sister company plndr.comsent me a huge package filled with pretty items, some that you guys have already seen and others that I'm showing you here in my new video. I did a sort of mixture between a newins/haul + outfit of the day video so it would't be too boring to watch, but I completely forgot to post it here as well. I have literally spent all day in bed - first in my secret lover's bed and then mine - watching Sex & The City not wanting to put on makeup at all. It's just been one of those no-makeup-bedheadhair-comfy-clothes-kinda days.. Talking about clothes, today I received the skirt that completes my Barbie-printed two piece, isn't it just lovely!? I'll have better outfit pictures up soon I promise.
Oh ps. If you noticed that my hands are green, it's from doing a green mermaid dip dye on a super sweet client, I forgot to use gloves tehehe, I guess I lied then, I actually did do something today, oopsies
I think my obsession with faux fur coats have been mentioned a few times, and I have been collecting them since I was thirteen, skimming the second hand shops of my city endlessly to find the best ones and my collection have become pretty big. I have been looking fur a pink fur jacket and stumbled upon this on ebay - it didn't cost a lot and it looks amazing so I obviously had to get it. Hope it will arrive soon so I can wear it before it gets too hot!
I've been doing another video week and decided to start with an easy hair tutorial on two minute curls. This has been one of my most used hairstyles for a while because it literally takes two minutes but still looks like you've spent time actually doing your hair.
Tuesday I was feeling sassy and decided to teach you guys how to properly twerk your booty.. Or make a complete fool out of myself. Either way, the weather was nice and I had a lot of fun - like the old people who live around me probably did too when they realized what I was doing - and on top of that my video was put on www.watchmetwerk.com, what an honor. I don't think they realized that this was ment to be a joke though.
On wednesday I posted a lookbook that I've been working on for a while, a few online shops have been sending me clothes and I included some of that to share some of my favorites outfits this spring. I probably will be doing more lookbooks again soon.
Thursday was another non-beauty video, and I did the 15 weird facts about me tag. I always like doing these tag videos, but rarely make them anyway.. I should probably work on that.
On friday I did a requested tutorial on the hair I wore in my goodbye video for Androgenetics. I have been loving this 70's Barbie hair for a while even though I rarely use that much hairspray - it's a lot of fun though. Just felt like posting the videos on here as well ♥
I am very picky with what putting up on my walls and in my apartment, and I have spent a few months trying to decide what the accent colors should be. So I went with baby pink and might add in some lavender later on, but yesterday I went out and got these very beautiful vintage frames and printed out pictures of old Barbie dolls and put them in. I like to print out my own pictures to make it look more personal and I have blogged about projects like this before.
Basically I just spray painted the frames with a light pink paint, put in my pictures the way I wanted and they are now ready to be hung up. I think it will look so cute, now I just need my boyfriend to feel the same way!

Just wanted to share a picture of my current hair. I don't think it's ever been this white and healthy at the same time. I thought I didn't like it but then I put on my makeup and fixed my hair and it's actually okay. At least for now until my new extensions and hairdyes will be here. What do you guys think? I feel like a Barbie!
