Pink October

Vintage hat - eBay faux fur coat - eBay shirt - Motel shorts - NLY boots - eBay sequin clutch

Went out shopping with Rebecca this monday in search for things we can use for two big upcoming parties, one of them being Coma Club. Fall has really hit now, so that calls for warmer clothes which means my collection of faux fur coats comes in great handy. These Motel shorts has become part of my work uniform, but even on days off I still seem to wear them all the time. So comfy.

Nelly shopping for new work clothes

Pearl London lace dress - Motel shorts - NLY Shoes metal heel boots - NLY Shoes faux suede pumps - Ax Paris kimono - Motel daisy crop top

Just placed a little order on nelly.com for some new work clothes, cause as you guys know, I recently started working for Makeup Forever and since we have to wear all black I thought it would be okay to stock up on some new items. I'll make the lace dress more casual by pairing it with black tights and boots for an everyday look and the rest of the items are just nice basics to mix and match with stuff I already have in my wardrobe + some more basic items on their way from eBay. The daisy top isn't really suitable for work, but I love daisies, Motel and it was only $12 so I couldn't resist. I'm getting so excited about fall fashion and hiding in big faux fur coats, loads of layers and deep fall colors. You guys feel the same?

New in | plastic sandals

Last week I received these white plastic sandals in the mail. I have been slightly obsessed with chunky shoes, especially in white, and since I needed a practical and causal pair for every day wear I decided to go with these juju jellies-looking ones from eBay. The kitchyness of them really appeals to me, but the crisp white color takes them away from that 90's feel you got from wearing similar ones as a kid and make them look more modern. They have been super comfortable to walk around in, but I'm afraid they wont survive Roskilde Festival, so it's a good thing they are more than affordable on eBay. I might just have to grab a pair in black too. And maybe pale pink.. with glitter.

Latest eBay finds

I may or may not have gone a bit overboard with my eBay and etsy shopping lately, but I have very valid excuses for once. Also it's been forever since I did one of these eBay shopping updates, so I thought now would be a good time to start again. I've tried to link to everything, but since some of these items - like the Jeffrey Campbell shoes and Wildfox clothing - were one of a kind items I won, I've just linked you guys to the specific sellers.

I've officially banned myself from shopping until next month, cause we really just can't risk becoming eBay addicts, right? So my watch-list is getting longer and longer and in reality I should just log off the internet so I won't be tempted. Did you guys find any interesting treasures on eBay lately?

Outfit | Secondhand madness

Secondhand scarf - Holy Malice sunnies - secondhand coat - second hand dress - Miss Selfridge clutch - secondhand pumps

I went out for lunch and catching up with one of my best friends from Kolding where I used to live yesterday in what at first felt like early spring weather, but turned out to be so, so cold. You can almost tell how much I'm freezing in the photos, haha. Most of the outfit was bought last week while secondhand shopping with my grandmother. I've been finding so many secondhand treasures lately, and this faux fur is just perfect for my collection. I also have a love/hate relationship with this dress - love the print, cut and colors. Kinda hate the material and the way it looks on. Bummer, but for so cheap I really don't mind at all. So much looking forward to spring kickin' in, hopefully any day now. How's the weather where you guys live?

Top 10 fashion picks

I'm back with a new Top 10 of items I'm currently lusting over from all over the internet. Craving everything black, white, clear and grey - lot's of textures and materials, and shapes that stand out enough for not much color or accessorising to be needed. I'm loving contrast and this is honestly the shoppinglist that I'm currently going for. Also finally stumbled across a pretty good knock off of the Stella McCartney tread shoes, and they just happen to come in my size which is more than you can say about other models like them.. Now I just need to choose between those and the Jeffrey Campbell Scully's on preorder. What would you guys go with?

Today's new years shopping

Very much unlike me, I have completely forgotten about my new years outfit, even though lists have been made and blog posts with links prepared. I had picked out the perfect, minimalistic, white sequin dress, but actually ordering it slipped my mind. Great! So today I had to venture out in the hunt for my new years outfit and I'm not kidding you guys, the amount of people shopping in Copenhagen today, had tripled. I waited in line for about 20 minutes in Topshop, only to buy the black patent leather skirt above. In H&M I couldn't resist adding the lime green fur shoulder warmer to my collection of oddly colored fur things, and since my outfit plan is to go all white I also got the white leather skirt above from Episode. Lastly, I grabbed a nail polish from Max Factor and an eyeshadow from Maybelline, both in the color Snow White. I'll see if I have time to snap some outfit photos before leaving tomorrow!

Stella McCartney vs. Jeffrey Campbell

I've had my eye on the Stella McCartney heavy tread shoes that has become an incredibly popular A/W 13 item. The over the top industrial vibe is completely balanced out by the clean, white color and I love that Stella used faux leather and thick rubber. They look so iconic and they're beautiful in both black and white. I can however not find them anywhere online (any tips much appreciated!!) but I stumbled upon the Jeffrey Campbell Scully shoes that is obviously very inspired by Stella's model - I like that the heel is higher, to me a tall heel is beautiful, but I feel like they're such a ripoff that I would feel sad wearing them. The Scully's are made from genuine leather which is a minus to me and you can almost see that the quality is in no way near the original model, especially when you own other Jeffrey Campbell shoes. I do love this design though, so my hunt for the original ones will continue!

What's your thoughts guys? Would you feel fine wearing the Scully's even when their such an obvious knock off?

10 Christmas favorites

Scented candles with deep, yummy scents of vanilla and chocolate. I'm loving the Tindra collection from IKEA. They've been burning in my room for almost two weeks and the smell never get's old or overwhelming. The cream colored one smells like waffles and vanilla ice cream, and I definitely need to restock soon.

I can't get enough of big, fluffy, faux fur pillows to cuddle up with while watching movies or reading blogs, it adds such a warm and cozy feeling to the room and helps you stay hot too. I bought a big pillow similar to the white one in IKEA and the colorful ones I found at Amazon.

Hot chocolate, lot's of it. It's really an essential for me during christmas time and I love how you can make it your own. Some favorite ingredients of mine: soy milk or almond milk, vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, chopped chocolate either white or very dark to sprinkle on top and even served with belgium waffle sticks on the side. Yum!

Christmas gift shopping! It's a perfect way of getting in the right christmas mood. I've personally been doing a lot of my gift shopping online this year (you're free from the hazzle of screaming children, too many people in the stores and having to walk around looking for just the right thing + you can sit inside with your fluffy fur pillows and drink hot chocolate!)

Allowing yourself to watch at least a few of your favorite holiday movies. Mine includes The Grinch, all the Home Alone movies and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Playing around in the magical first snow that, if you're lucky, sometimes fall in december. Winter wonderlands are amazing and even though getting hit by a snowball - yes this actually almost happened to my friends and I this weekend - going for a long walk and getting lost in the snow will always be an amazing thing.

Baking beautiful christmas treats, cakes and goodies. Christmas is the one time of year where I really allow myself to eat too many sweets and I've found a few really lovely vegan recipes that I'm going to try out. My littlebrother will be visiting next week before going on the grand family visiting tour, so I'm going to wait until next week with going bakery crazy. I'll be sure to post the recipes that I like on my blog.

Making the perfect playlist with all your favorite christmas and holiday songs to play for you and your family on christmas eve and the days before and after. If you're too lazy or don't have time to make your own, there are a ton of nice on already on youtube. Here's one paired with a fireplace video. Doesn't get much better than that, huh?

The perfect sweater. There is nothing better to wear in christmas time, and a sweater can do so many things. No matter if they're thick knitted, ripped, lavender or any chocolate/earth/cinnamon color or even raindeer printed, this is a must have for me. They don't even have to be ugly and christmas like.. But they can be. All sweaters picked at romwe.com and sheinside.com

Ah, the final, but not to be forgotten thing on my list - glögg. Also called mulled wine in english, is mostly, I think, a nordic christmas tradition that I remember drinking in both Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. It's made by redwine, different spices and raisins and you drink it hot in the winter months! Everyone make it differently, and there's a ton of other ingredients you can add to make it more personal. I just need this for christmas, it kinda completes this whole month. Have any of you guys tried it? And what are some of your christmas favorites?

What I would wear in christmas time

Simply lines. Thick materials. Plaids, lace and faux leather. These are all things that I'm absolutely lusting over right now, and all things will be perfect for winter. I'm obsessed with plaids (which I guess you can say the highstreet is too, just my luck huh?) but I feel like the fabric doesn't have to be plain and boring as long as the lines are. Not feeling over accessorizing either, I really feel like keeping it simple in every way - top it off with a pair of over knee heels, some warm tights, the perfect red lipstick and a black hat with ears and you're ready to go.

I've picked out all of these items over at romwe.com, they have so many great pieces in just the right colors for christmas and the holiday season. I'm planning on dying my hair bright red really soon so everything green, yellow, white and black will be fabulous with my new hair. Oh and links to all items can be found on my polyvore right here.

What are you guys lusting over for the holiday season?

Valfre's new webshop

So LA based artist Ilse Valfre - who you should definitely follow on instagram - just opened her brand new webshop with accessories like iphone cases, tote bags, journal books and even different kind of t-shirts with her own girl power illustrations printed on them. I've been following her for a while and it seems like whenever she puts out something new my days just get a little bit better. If you, like me, have a love for colorful mermaid hair, cats, makeup, pizza and quircky girliness, this is right up your alley! I've picked out my favorites, but you can check out the rest of her website right here.
