Tribal makeup for work

Since regular blogging is on hold for now, I figured I might as well try to post some makeup looks for work. Today the Makeup Forever girls and I picked a tribal theme - you can see all of us on instagram here - and this is what I wore, besides a nude lipstick that I didn't have at home. This was kinda put together last minute and I was running out of several products, but the final result reminded me a bit of the girls from Rasputina, so I'm not complaining.

A little christmas update

Merry christmas guys, I hope everyone had a joyful night with lot's of yummy food, the presents you wished for and a few good memories to end the year. I rebelled against danish christmas traditions by having myself a tropical night with exotic burgers, nachos and drinks on the side. By the end of the night I'd drunk my bodyweight in piña colada, cosmopolitan and mojito. It was lovely not getting ill after eating the christmas food (that I honestly don't even like) as the past four christmas dinners - next year will definitely be another tropical night. Cheers to new traditions. 

On another note, I have been fading my hair color since I'm leaving purple and lavender to go bright, neon red. Red is such a powerful, expressive and sensual color that has always been a personal favorite, so it will be fun to go a bit crazy with it for a month or two before dying it drastically different. At the moment the color has faded to a not so attractive seafoam green meets grey meets blue kinda shade, and I can't wait to be able to get rid of it. Also I was thinking about doing a tutorial for this hairstyle as one of my first videos when I start posting again in january?

Yesterday Sofie came over to eat lasagna with my family and I and after dinner we went to sit by a pond with a few beers and catch up until we went to Bar De Villé to get warm. It was so windy, so my Miu Miu inspired hair was surprisingly practical. Basically my entire outfit was Miu Miu inspired. I was a little obsessed, okay?! Also thank you guys for helping me finding my dream shoes in the previous post, you are amazing ♥

 In 2010 Miu Miu put out an amazing spring/summer collection that I instantly fell in love with, all the swallow and cat printed details were perfect styled with the long braids and overly cute outfits, and especially these crystal embellished pink satin heels had me obsessed. The price kinda scared me off though, but my obsession never ended and they just need to be a part of my shoe collection!

Pretty much every fashion blogger swooned over these shoes and they were featured in endless outfit posts, magazines and editorials. Since they were such a big hit it's been impossible for me to dust out a pair in just my size, I keep falling over knock-offs like these and these but an original pair is nowhere to be found. I don't even care if I get a pair of knock-offs, I just neeeeeed them. So I'm asking you guys - do you know of any sites where I can grab a pair in a size US 9.5/EU 41? I have been looking for three years and I might soon give up. On life.

I have been working on this vest for a while whenever I was bored and I'm really pleased with the result! It's perfect for spring and summer and to spice up boring outfits, and DIY projects like these are fun to do because you make personal items that only you have. I've also been wearing my hair in braids a lot lately like I seem to do every summer, so I will have a new video up about it next week ♥

Birthdaydinner last night

Yesterday my good friend Sphresa turned twentyfive, so we went for birthday dinner at Café Kridt in Haderslev. I got the vege sandwich, which was huge, and a glass of water and was really surpriced about the place - it was affordable and nice. I also changed my outfit fourteen times before going out to find the right balance for the very hot weather and still look okay. I'm not sure about the last part, but I got to wear these striped leggings out for the first time! Also my face looks poofy and I'm not sure why - it might be the braid, I have been experimenting with braids a lot lately.

Current style mood

A few of my current fashion inspirations including tight ponytails in middlepartings as seen in both Alexander Wang and Chanel SS 13 shows, especially with the Alexander Wang middlepart tape. I'm also still obsessed with pale blue hair, and might actually have to experiment just a little bit with it later today.I have been drooling over loads of different patent material items, the pale mint green pants in the Mugler SS 13 is to die for and Miu Miu does it wonderfully as well. I'm also craving flowers, loads of flowers. And that's basically what I want for my looks right now. What are you guys crushing over?

As I said before I'm really into braids lately and I love that the basic color in my hair is pastel pink, cause it goes so well with a lot of different colors. Todays I was just feeling pink though. I've had some costumers over so I could fix their hair, so I think I'm gonna order some new wedges I've been drooling over for some time from nelly.com, I don't know what it is, but they always have the most fabulous shoes there.

I love braids and I've actually been experimenting a lot with braids lately. I love how they can be worn in so many different ways and go together with such different styles or even spice up an outfit. Personally the very long, very messy, multicolored braid is more my style, but it could be done more conservative too.
