Pink October

Vintage hat - eBay faux fur coat - eBay shirt - Motel shorts - NLY boots - eBay sequin clutch

Went out shopping with Rebecca this monday in search for things we can use for two big upcoming parties, one of them being Coma Club. Fall has really hit now, so that calls for warmer clothes which means my collection of faux fur coats comes in great handy. These Motel shorts has become part of my work uniform, but even on days off I still seem to wear them all the time. So comfy.

Outfit | Grey beaches

Vintage faux fur - Asos dress - eBay earrings - eBay gold chain - secondhand shoes

I spent this day modelling for a very cold photoshoot in 5 degrees weather and pretty much no clothes or shoes - pictures will follow soon - and I dressed sort of practical and warm, so it would be easy to change outfits and not freeze to death. My friends have made fun of these shoes since I bought them a few weeks ago for their grandma-vibes, and even though I do get those vibes too, somehow they just work for me when I wear them. Still feel better in colorless clothes right now, but I've been re-united with my beloved oversized gold earrings and I'm in love with the way they look in contrast to my hair. Whether or not I look like a russian prostitute is debatable, but I am so ready to welcome spring weather and say goodbye to grey skies and winter outfits. Hopefully this will be the last winter outfit post before we transition into spring. All photos by Rebecca Bregnum.

Outfit | Secondhand madness

Secondhand scarf - Holy Malice sunnies - secondhand coat - second hand dress - Miss Selfridge clutch - secondhand pumps

I went out for lunch and catching up with one of my best friends from Kolding where I used to live yesterday in what at first felt like early spring weather, but turned out to be so, so cold. You can almost tell how much I'm freezing in the photos, haha. Most of the outfit was bought last week while secondhand shopping with my grandmother. I've been finding so many secondhand treasures lately, and this faux fur is just perfect for my collection. I also have a love/hate relationship with this dress - love the print, cut and colors. Kinda hate the material and the way it looks on. Bummer, but for so cheap I really don't mind at all. So much looking forward to spring kickin' in, hopefully any day now. How's the weather where you guys live?

Neon red hair

The past six months has sort of been a hair adventure for me. I've been through pink, blonde, yellow, green and every nuance of purple you can imagine before ending on a very stubborn unwelcome blue. For a few months I've been playing with the thought of going red, just try to it. Red used to be one of my favorite colors that you would always see me in when I was younger, and so yesterday boredom hit me and I went red. I still prefer my pastels, but this is gonna be fun for a while. After this I have one more (very drastic change of) hair color I wanna try out before I go back to pale pink and bleached brows. Oh ps. I forgot my flat iron in Germany, so I'm kind of in the middle of a hair crisis.

What do you guys think? I'm very excited for your reactions!

Outfit | Undercover

H&M hat - Holy Malice sunnies - second hand faux fur - second hand shirt - Rose Wholesale skirt - Rose Wholesale bag - old boots

Running erands on no sleep, literally, sometimes feel a lot easier with a little disguise. The weather is windy and wet today so my floppy hat and sunnies don't just hide my face from the world, but also protects me from mother nature. The sidebraid is both practical for the weather situation and for hiding how bad my extensions need a trim, which I will hopefully be able to do tonight before leaving for Germany tomorrow! I'll be away for nine days, so lot's of outfit posts from beautiful Nürnberg will follow. The skirt and bag are both new and worked so well for this comfy-no-sleep-running-erands-in-disquise-look, while the boots have been a staple winter item in my wardrobe for around ten years soon. These pictures (and many more to come) was taken by my wonderful friend and photographer Rebecca Bregnum. How is the weather where you guys live?

Outfit | Patent leather, lace & green fur

I like the idea of mixing different materials and textures, especially in wintertime where you won't overheat and die from wearing faux fur or patent leather. The shoulder warmer is a recent H&M newin that I showed you guys along with the Topshop skirt too. This is pretty close to my new years outfit, except my hair was straight and I wore no jewelry or accessories. I'm also convinced that the shoulder warmer will start to look rather dingy after a few wears due to the quality, bohoo.

It's so funny to me that patent leather has become so big when only five years ago people would point their fingers at me on the street and wrinkle their noses, and now you see it all over the high-street. This Topshop skirt really do both look and feel nice compared to patent leather items bought for a lot cheaper in erotic boutiques.

Last summer I went to a fleamarket that I always visit while staying at my grandmother, we go there after having spent a few hours by a beach that I've went to since I was a little kid, and usually all three of us - grandmother, littlebrother and I - find at least two things to take along with us. I bought the ring from the picture above and have been wearing it like crazy the last few months for obvious reasons. The earrings are 80's vintage.

Today's new years shopping

Very much unlike me, I have completely forgotten about my new years outfit, even though lists have been made and blog posts with links prepared. I had picked out the perfect, minimalistic, white sequin dress, but actually ordering it slipped my mind. Great! So today I had to venture out in the hunt for my new years outfit and I'm not kidding you guys, the amount of people shopping in Copenhagen today, had tripled. I waited in line for about 20 minutes in Topshop, only to buy the black patent leather skirt above. In H&M I couldn't resist adding the lime green fur shoulder warmer to my collection of oddly colored fur things, and since my outfit plan is to go all white I also got the white leather skirt above from Episode. Lastly, I grabbed a nail polish from Max Factor and an eyeshadow from Maybelline, both in the color Snow White. I'll see if I have time to snap some outfit photos before leaving tomorrow!

10 Christmas favorites

Scented candles with deep, yummy scents of vanilla and chocolate. I'm loving the Tindra collection from IKEA. They've been burning in my room for almost two weeks and the smell never get's old or overwhelming. The cream colored one smells like waffles and vanilla ice cream, and I definitely need to restock soon.

I can't get enough of big, fluffy, faux fur pillows to cuddle up with while watching movies or reading blogs, it adds such a warm and cozy feeling to the room and helps you stay hot too. I bought a big pillow similar to the white one in IKEA and the colorful ones I found at Amazon.

Hot chocolate, lot's of it. It's really an essential for me during christmas time and I love how you can make it your own. Some favorite ingredients of mine: soy milk or almond milk, vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, chopped chocolate either white or very dark to sprinkle on top and even served with belgium waffle sticks on the side. Yum!

Christmas gift shopping! It's a perfect way of getting in the right christmas mood. I've personally been doing a lot of my gift shopping online this year (you're free from the hazzle of screaming children, too many people in the stores and having to walk around looking for just the right thing + you can sit inside with your fluffy fur pillows and drink hot chocolate!)

Allowing yourself to watch at least a few of your favorite holiday movies. Mine includes The Grinch, all the Home Alone movies and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Playing around in the magical first snow that, if you're lucky, sometimes fall in december. Winter wonderlands are amazing and even though getting hit by a snowball - yes this actually almost happened to my friends and I this weekend - going for a long walk and getting lost in the snow will always be an amazing thing.

Baking beautiful christmas treats, cakes and goodies. Christmas is the one time of year where I really allow myself to eat too many sweets and I've found a few really lovely vegan recipes that I'm going to try out. My littlebrother will be visiting next week before going on the grand family visiting tour, so I'm going to wait until next week with going bakery crazy. I'll be sure to post the recipes that I like on my blog.

Making the perfect playlist with all your favorite christmas and holiday songs to play for you and your family on christmas eve and the days before and after. If you're too lazy or don't have time to make your own, there are a ton of nice on already on youtube. Here's one paired with a fireplace video. Doesn't get much better than that, huh?

The perfect sweater. There is nothing better to wear in christmas time, and a sweater can do so many things. No matter if they're thick knitted, ripped, lavender or any chocolate/earth/cinnamon color or even raindeer printed, this is a must have for me. They don't even have to be ugly and christmas like.. But they can be. All sweaters picked at romwe.com and sheinside.com

Ah, the final, but not to be forgotten thing on my list - glögg. Also called mulled wine in english, is mostly, I think, a nordic christmas tradition that I remember drinking in both Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. It's made by redwine, different spices and raisins and you drink it hot in the winter months! Everyone make it differently, and there's a ton of other ingredients you can add to make it more personal. I just need this for christmas, it kinda completes this whole month. Have any of you guys tried it? And what are some of your christmas favorites?

Fall style mood 2013

My strategy to beat winter sadness when grey days, less sunlight and colder weather hits will be wearing loads of colors, funny textures and contrasting materials. I actually for once love a huge range of upcoming trends - colorful fur coats, knitted beanies, thigh boots and statement outerwear in general. It's a perfect time to bring out all my favorite vintage faux furs, the temperature just needs to drop a few more degrees. Oh and pink. I wan't all pink everything.

Is there any trends you guys are obessing over?

If it's pink, I need it

I think my obsession with faux fur coats have been mentioned a few times, and I have been collecting them since I was thirteen, skimming the second hand shops of my city endlessly to find the best ones and my collection have become pretty big. I have been looking fur a pink fur jacket and stumbled upon this on ebay - it didn't cost a lot and it looks amazing so I obviously had to get it. Hope it will arrive soon so I can wear it before it gets too hot!
