Coma Club 2014

A bunch of photos from this years Coma Club, or rather, our little getting ready/pre party at Rebecca's place. As you guys can tell we all kinda got obsessed with glitter this year, and my fabulous american friend Jayce who's studying in Copenhagen this semester came by Makeup Forever where we did his makeup before going to Rebecca's place to all dress up and have fun. From what I remember, most of of the night was amazing :P

I'm hosting a party at Wonk in Malmö on saturday with the fabulous guys from Duo RAW and Kyle Farmery, so if you don't know what to do this weekend and you're in Denmark or Sweden come say hi to Rebecca and I at the party! The official event is right here.

Malibu Barbie Part II

Vagabond shoes - vintage nightgown from Mie Maja's great grandmother - DIY necklace - DIY glitter sunnies - 80's Mickey Mouse scarf from Mie Maja's childhood -
DIY glitter bag - 60's magazines - The cat, Frk. Nilsson

Part two of the Malibu Barbie shoot we did in Mie Maja's new apartment this week. Love the dreamy sorroundings. The bed has little, fluffy clouds, lights and a dreamcatcher. So excited about staying there and having the place to myself from monday and almost a week forward - it's gonna feel like a complete princess vacation. Also getting excited about raiding her wardrobe and making daily outfit posts for you guys. You will die when you see all the treasures there is!

My look for Coma Club

So this saturday I lost my Coma Club-virginity along with Rebecca from the hair transformation two posts below this hahaha. If you're from Denmark and love wild parties, you probably know of Coma Club, and if not, think 80's & 90's club kids, outrageous costumes, wigs, makeup, electronic music and around 1500 people attending. It was on a secret location that weren't revealed until a few hours before the party started. I had soooo much fun, it really was the party of the year. I'll look for more official photos to post.

Did any of you guys attend?

Gold glitter nails for the cheap

When you're trying to save up for a new apartment, occasional trips to the nail salon really aren't very realistic, and sometimes just wearing plain nail polish get's boring. It's in times of boredom you must turn to nail stickers, glitter and fun ways to make your nails look personal.

I've been very into glitter dipped nails lately so I decided to try it out myself. It takes no time and is super affordable. First step is to apply Max Factor's Marshmallow nail polish on your entire nail, then quickly before it dries sprinkle some Stargazer gold glitter from eBay on the tip of your nail, wait for it to dry, brush excess glitter off and finish with a clear topcoat! And you're done!

Solestruck Spring '13 Favorites

Solestruck.com is my all time favorite place to look at and order shoes from,
they have all the cool brands your heart could desire from Jeffrey Cambell, Adidas x Jeremy Scott and UNIF, to Vivienne Westwood, Buffalo and Deandri. Since spring is officially here and it's time to pack away your old winterboots, here's a list of my current favorite solestruck shoes.

Jeremy Scott is for obvious reasons one of my favorite designers and his Adidas collaboration have had me drooling. Usually sneakers aren't really up my alley, but what's not to love about this pink poodle madness? Here's the JS Poodle.

Oxfords never really catched my fancy, but these holographic ones have caught my attention. They would be great styled with a silver holographic dress and white nails and sunglasses. Here's the Zoe by Miista.

I obviously can't do a favorite shoes list without including Jeffrey Campbell and I've loved this design since I first saw it in black but didn't consider getting them since I already own the Spiked Lita and the Shadow Shadow Stud, but they're a totally different story in white, right? These are soooo good, here's the Damsel Spike in white.

You can't really get around it, Buffalo's are back big time and their collaboration with Solestruck is pretty impressive. These are for all platform wearing, 90's lovers and they are purrrfect. Here's my Buffalo x Solestruck favorite.

I already did a post about these babies before, but I just can't get them out of my head.

GET GLITTERY FOR NEW YEARS

I'm the kind of person who believes in going all in for new years and really get glammed up. It just feels like a great idea to look your best when jumping in to a new year and a new start, so I went on eBay to have a little look at what they could offer in the glittery shoe department. What I really love about eBay is that you can find pretty much any item you have in mind and get it for less money and since adding glittery pumps, wedges or stilettos to your new years outfit - no matter how casual you wanna look - you still have that extra flair and glamour. I found these five pairs for you, all reasonably prized, so now I too have trouble picking out just what pair to get.

Oh ps. I know new years is more than a month away, but it takes time looking good!

THE JEFFREY CAMPBELL STREET CRED'S

Oh. My god. I feel like these shoes were made for me. Heel-less platforms in pink glitter? They are amazing - with more than 11 inches you would look like a monster walking around in these babies. Of course the heel is only a little taller than 7 inches due to the massive platform, but they are definitely not for first time heel wearers. I've also seen them in multiglitter on solestruck if that's more your style and they cost $155 both places. These will definitely be my next Jeffrey Campbell buy, maybe a christmas present for myself this year, but until then I will have to just drool a little more over them on nastygal. You can find them right here.

ELF Gem tools collection!

I recently discovered this Gem Collection by ELF and now I'm totally obsessed with it! There is everything from eyeshadow brushes, eyelashes curlers, powder brushes and everything comes in three different colors - pink, purple and silver. I'm not sure about the quality but for the cheap prices I think it's worth it! It's not available in Europe yet, but I'm sure I will get some of this when it is.
You can see more of the collection right HERE

Glitter.

Glitter overload, it makes me happy. All I've used is a purple H&M nailpolish, a dark and old purple nailpolish, a clear glitter nailpolish and some Stargazer glitter. Wow. That's a lot of glitter.
